As a Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Workplace Solutions Chief Administrative Office Technology, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications on modern cloud-based technologies.
As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical architecture solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of project goals.
Job responsibilities Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future needs Defines the technical target state of their product and drives achievement of the strategy Participates in architecture governance bodies Experience applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment in software engineering and architecture workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into cloud-native architectures while meeting resiliency, security, and auditability requirements.
Evaluates recommendations and provides feedback on new technologies Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field of study, plus experience in a related role (Solutions Architect, Senior IT Consultant, Senior Software Developer, IT Architect, etc.) Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems Practical cloud native experience Experience applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment in software engineering and architecture workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into cloud-native architectures while meeting resiliency, security, and auditability requirements.
Advanced knowledge of one or more software, applications, and architecture disciplines Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture Deep understanding of Workplace infrastructure design and human usability patterns Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Demonstrated leadership in product and solution governance and technical direction Experience formulating design methodologies, coding standards, and defining best practices to improve quality deliverables Familiarity with architectural assessment frameworks and strategy documents Ability to handle end-to-end project delivery from requirements through production support Strong communication and influence skills across technical and business stakeholders A drive to develop technical and cross-functional knowledge, particularly in emerging workplace technology and phygital experiences About Us J.P.
