This is a key role within a top-tier main contractor with a strong pipeline of major building projects across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities Lead all cost management, commercial reporting, and contractual responsibilities on a flagship city-centre project.
Manage procurement, subcontractor negotiation, and package management.
Provide accurate forecasting, budgeting, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Work closely with project leadership to ensure programme, quality, and financial targets are met.
Mentor junior QS team members and contribute to continuous commercial improvement.
Requirements 10+ years experience delivering large-scale commercial or mixed-use projects in Ireland or the UK.
Proven track record with main contractors on projects of comparable scale.
Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and contractual knowledge (particularly with Irish/UK forms of contract).
Ability to work autonomously at senior level and lead commercial activities from pre-construction through to final account. xyswxtq
Relevant degree qualification (Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or similar).
