Job Description
As a Security Officer Licensed Armed Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, visitors, and patients with strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.63 / Hour
Job Schedule:

- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
- Support daily operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and communicating with site contacts during routine activities and/or urgent situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton certification is preferred.
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
