We are seeking a dynamic Field Applications Engineer - Robotics to join our Robotics Solutions team. This commissioned sales role combines deep technical expertise with strategic sales acumen to drive revenue growth in the rapidly expanding robotics market. You'll work directly with leading robotics OEMs to identify opportunities, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful product integration from design to production. Key Responsibilities Drive new design-win opportunities and provide co-engineering support to achieve production revenue Leverage deep product portfolio knowledge to accelerate sales in established and emerging robotics markets Cultivate strategic relationships with OEMs, distributors, and ecosystem partners Develop compelling product demonstrations and assist in design reviews during customer visits Analyze technical data to resolve customer issues and provide feedback to internal teams Achieve annual sales targets of $10M+ through strategic account management Translate complex technical requirements into actionable business solutions As a Successful Candidate, You Will Demonstrate Exceptional communication and presentation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset Self-motivation and skills to work independently Collaborative approach to multi-stakeholder environments Adaptability in fast-paced, technology-driven markets Customer-centric focus with relationship-building expertise Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field 5+ years of experience in the robotics industry Technical sales experience with enterprise/OEM customers Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets (10M+ annual quota preferred) Working directly with Robotics OEMs in design scenarios Background in semiconductor, embedded systems, or related technology sectors Preferred Qualifications MBA preferred 4+ years of experience with Intel products and technologies Existing relationships within the robotics OEM ecosystem Background in systems integration or solution selling International business experience Strong understanding of robotics architectures, sensors, actuators, and control systems Knowledge of edge computing, AI/ML inference, and real-time processing requirements Familiarity with robotics software frameworks (ROS, ROS2, etc.) Understanding of industrial automation, autonomous vehicles, or service robotics markets Experience with Intel or competitive processor architectures Job Type: Experienced Hire Shift: Shift 1 (United States of America) Primary Location: Virtual US Additional Locations: Posting Statement: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, religious creed, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, military and veteran status, marital status, pregnancy, gender, gender expression, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by local law, regulation, or ordinance. Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $183,330.00-352,540.00 USD The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Work Model for this Role This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. However, you must live and work from the country specified in the job posting, in which Intel has a legal presence.
