Veterinary Technician
to lead the organization, coordination, and supervision of shared resources and staff within our specialty service. In this role, you will continue to function as a Veterinary Technician while also providing leadership, direction, training, and ongoing support to your team. The ideal candidate is a technician with strong anesthesia proficiency and a commitment to clinical excellence. In addition, you will play a key role in upholding hospital standards, promoting established protocols, and fostering a respectful, collaborative, and high-performing workplace culture. This is a Full-Time position: Monday Friday 40 hours a week. Rotating Saturdays are required. Preferably 5+ years of experience in the veterinary field. Associates in Veterinary Technology is a plus. Knowledge of Anesthesia and monitoring. Phlebotomy Knowledge of the procedures used for scheduling patients, receiving, treating, ordering medical supplies, and requesting laboratory tests. Knowledge of the use, care, and storage of veterinary instruments, materials, and equipment. Knowledge of sterilization techniques to sterilize various instruments and materials. Knowledge of the instruments, materials, and standardized procedures used in the full variety of treatments to prepare and provide tableside assistance. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing client and personal services. This includes client needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of client satisfaction. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Must be 18 years or older to apply. #
