Job Summary This role serves as the front line for the Business Operations team, delivering and maintaining uninterrupted digital and physical technology solutions across the agency. It focuses on end‑user technology support, hardware asset management, and the implementation of enterprise systems such as ITAM, TLM, BAM, and ERP.
Responsibilities
Provide direct end‑user support for all agency hardware and software assets, achieving full resolution.
Manage tickets: creation, tracking, tagging, and follow‑up to meet target customer experience.
Analyze system problems, propose and implement solutions, and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
Conduct continuous quality improvement of BizOps and CX strategies, identifying security risks.
Design, develop, and update standard operating procedures and best practices for enterprise‑wide asset management.
Maintain and improve processes for ordering, deploying, and managing the lifecycle of CDEC’s ITAM.
Provide strategic guidance over hardware asset licenses and ensure appropriate maintenance levels.
Coordinate with vendors for equipment delivery, signing, and shipping, and perform hardware deployment, reclamation, and replacement.
Manage financial information entry into OnBase for proper tracking of hardware assets.
Audit stored and deployed hardware, providing reporting and impact assessments.
Develop recommendations for retiring hardware sanitization and disposal per state e‑waste policies.
Maintain processes for software inventory management in the Digital ITAM and provide guidance on software asset licenses.
Coordinate software refresh cycles, reporting, and recommendations for essential software assets.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Two (2) years of relevant experience in technology, hardware, and/or software roles, including direct experience with a diverse population of end users.
OR a combination of related education, formal apprenticeship, certification, and/or experience equal to two (2) years.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Software, or Technology.
1+ year of experience with ITAM, TLM, BAM, and/or ERP systems.
1+ year of experience managing hardware provisioning, reclamation, retirement, and end‑user technology support.
Demonstrated ability to lead onboarding and offboarding of employees in a secure, user‑centric manner.
Experience making system‑wide decisions impacting thousands of users.
Strong communication skills for stakeholder influence and change‑management coordination.
Highly Desired Skills:
Experience with RBAC systems, ITAM, TLM, BAM, and ERP dashboards.
Agile, user‑centric mindset with prioritization of efficiency and interoperability.
Proven ability to communicate across technical and non‑technical audiences.
