Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Access Control Driver in El Dorado, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location as an armed Access Control Officer in a driving post. You will monitor entry points, verify access, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Guided by a caring culture, teamwork, agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity, you will play an important role in supporting daily operations.

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour
Job Schedule:

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor and document the entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles at the location, verifying credentials, authorizations, and delivery information in accordance with site policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, local authorities, and/or site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, restricted areas, and the perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Prepare clear reports of daily activities, access-related events, incidents, and policy violations, and assist with badge checks, key control, and other security-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
