Job Summary/Purpose:
The Gemini 3 Group (G3G) is seeking a full-time Junior Systems Administrator (Jr Sys Admin) to support the G3G Corporate office in Stafford, VA. The Jr Sys Admin will support the G3G IT infrastructure including networks and IT equipment, maintaining system reliability and security, and providing technical support to G3G employees.
Note:
This position also serves as backup for a SharePoint Support role in Norfolk, VA, traveling once a week, three times a year. Travel expenses will be paid by G3G.
Essential Responsibilities/Functions
Collaborate with third‑party managed services company on day‑to‑day network management
Monitor network performance
Manage user accounts and permissions
Perform updates and backups on all IT equipment
Support networking tasks
Maintain documentation including CMMC 2.0 documentation
Assist with cybersecurity practices
Support cloud services
Remain current on the latest SharePoint best practices and policies
Develop and maintain the G3G SharePoint Online internal website
Develop and maintain SharePoint flows using Power Automate
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to understand and contribute to the strategic goals and objectives of G3G
Strong analytical skills for identifying problems, understanding business needs, and developing effective solutions for the customer
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with the customer, document requirements, and present findings
Required Education, Licenses, and Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or a related discipline
Minimum 2 years’ experience in supporting IT in an office environment, SharePoint development, and workflow management
Security Clearance Requirements:
Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Licenses and Certifications
Network+ or Security+
