EMT - Advanced MaineHealth Emergency Medical Services | Norway, ME Base Per Diem, Rotating Schedule (Shift Descriptions Below) Professional This base runs several shift structures ranging from 12, to 24-hours in length and are as follows: 24-Hour shift from 8A - 8A. 16-Hour shift from 4P - 8A. 12-Hour Shifts from either 7P/A - 7A/P or 8A/P - 8P/A. There is common space available for shift downtimes, which also has 8 private bedrooms for use. Schedules are usually made 2-3 months out, and EMS staff can expect 5 days off in a row every 4 weeks. Summary: The EMT - Advanced role provides both basic and advanced life support during emergency pre-hospital and interfacility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient's injury or illness in accordance with State and local protocols. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
Education: Completion of EMT-Advanced course required. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) EMT-Advanced license required. Valid driver's license required.
