This position is a strategic product line owner responsible for the overall growth and profitability of assigned product lines (Predictive Analytics, Velera AI Assistant). You will design product vision, cultivate and execute strategies, conduct technical analysis, monitor compliance and mandates, create business plans, and deliver sales support to drive profitability and penetration. You will develop and manage budgets for each product and associated marketing campaigns, gather and prioritize product, market drivers, industry trends, and customer requirements, and launch new business and technical solutions to deliver winning payment solutions. Responsibilities
Create, manage, and implement an annual strategic plan, marketing plan, and budget and administer all plans to ensure alignment with company objectives. Forecast line revenue and profitability by gathering and analyzing internal capabilities, capacity, market demand, and external competitive information. Manage and direct development of all product commercialization duties, including sales strategies, pricing comparisons, advertising methodology, marketing approach, competitive comparisons, and cost/benefit analysis for solution participants. Partner with Marketing Services to create and prepare advertising and promotional materials for products and solutions for member credit unions and consumers. Partner with member credit unions and advisory group credit unions for market evaluation, research, surveys, focus groups, and pilot testing. Be an expert on market trends affecting solution offerings to maximize market opportunities and minimize competitive impact. Create and publish or present thought leadership regarding trends and usage of assigned product lines. Ensure effective communication of pertinent information to internal staff and external member-owners regarding new solution initiatives and existing enhancements. Lead and participate in meetings to support executive committees throughout developmental stages, communicate progress, and interact with Velera, vendor, partner, and financial institution executives or advisory groups. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, integrate them into product lines, and consult credit unions on best practices. Communicate and routinely update solution performance information to senior leadership. Represent and support Velera personnel at sales meetings, vendor and partner meetings, trade shows, financial institution site visits, and association functions. Direct the development of product documentation, procedures, training, and marketing materials. Conduct technical analysis, determine technical product direction, and direct development. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Combined seven (7) years of experience in product management, agile project management, product marketing, technical product implementations, and/or business systems analysis supporting technical products, with a minimum of two (2) years in product management. Functional knowledge of Predictive Analytics and Velera AI Assistant is highly preferred. Experience using data visualization software such as Power BI and Tableau is preferred. Experience using Data Bricks, Snowflake, basic SQL, and basic API knowledge is preferred. Experience with product budgeting and revenue forecasting. Experience with the financial, credit union industry and core or account processing. Compensation & Benefits
