Position Overview The Marketing Project Manager is a hands‑on role responsible for driving cross‑functional marketing projects from kick‑off through concepting, review, completion and reporting. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Marketing and supports the implementation of the annual Marketing Department roadmap. The Manager engages closely with creative, paid media, social media, martech, communications, and other stakeholders to advance our marketing technology ecosystem and ensure data integrity across the organization.
The position is based in Addison/Farmers Branch, TX, supporting 225+ gym locations nationwide. It is a hybrid full‑time role: Monday–Friday, with Monday and Friday in‑office and Tuesday–Thursday optionally remote.
Responsibilities
Own the project management of Marketing Department initiatives, ensuring timely briefing, communication, launch, and evaluation while providing status updates and optimizations.
Drive cross‑functional collaboration across creative, paid media, social, martech, communications and marketing.
Maintain the Monday.com workspace by creating board structures and folders and using automations to drive department‑wide efficiency; manage project workflows including deliverables, deadlines, reviews, approvals and visibility.
Own creation and maintenance of all process documentation, including SOPs and playbooks to provide a single source of truth.
Support development of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting by maintaining timelines, documentation and project recaps for leadership review and optimization.
Manage partnership and community relations assets and provide additional project management support as needed.
Support gym milestones—including presale launches, grand openings, CapEx, amenity launches, additions and removals, as well as gym closures and reopenings—by managing timelines, deliverables and key stakeholder coordination.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple fast‑moving projects and priorities.
Highly organized and detail‑oriented, comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
Ability to work independently while collaborating cross‑functionally and providing proactive, real‑time updates.
Experience in the fitness industry or strong interest in health and fitness is a plus.
Flexible and able to pivot according to business needs.
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing or related field (required).
3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
Exceptional time‑management skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Power user of project‑management software such as Monday.com, with ability to architect board structures, workflows and automations.
Great sense of humor, positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across a dynamic team environment.
