Horaire de travail : 77 Jour (80 h / 2 semaines)
Sous la supervision du directeur d’exploration de surface ou du technicien principal, le ou la technicien(ne) de terrain assure le support technique aux programmes d’exploration de surface de Wesdome. Il ou elle participe activement aux travaux terrain liés aux campagnes de forage ainsi qu’aux activités quotidiennes de gestion des carottes de forage à la carothèque.

Ce qui vous attend
• Participer activement aux travaux de terrain liés aux programmes d’exploration
• Effectuer la reconnaissance du terrain et l’implantation des sentiers et des sites de forage
• Procéder à l’enlignement des foreuses et assurer le suivi journalier des travaux de forage
• Effectuer des visites terrain régulières afin de vérifier les aspects santé-sécurité et environnement
• Collaborer étroitement avec les techniciens principaux et les géologues dans l’exécution des travaux
• Soutenir les opérations à la carothèque lors des périodes de pause ou de ralentissement du forage
• Récupérer, ouvrir et vérifier les boîtes de carottes et valider les métrages
• Classer, étiqueter et déplacer les boîtes de carottes selon les procédures établies
• Transporter les boîtes entre les carothèques de manière sécuritaire
• Préparer les standards et blancs requis pour le protocole QA/QC
• Préparer les envois d’échantillons au laboratoire
• Contribuer à la logistique générale des travaux d’exploration
• Exécuter toute autre tâche connexe selon les besoins opérationnels
• Participer à la mise en place et à l’application des lois et règlements, les normes, les standards et les procédures en application au complexe minier Kiena;
• Diplôme d’études secondaires (DES) ou expérience équivalente
• Permis de conduire valide – classe 5 (atout)
• Carte de conducteur d’embarcation de plaisance
• Formation de conduite de VTT complétée (atout)
• Bonne condition physique permettant de manipuler des charges jusqu’à 40 lb
• Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience en exploration minière de surface
• Ponctualité et assiduité
• Bon esprit d’équipe et attitude collaborative
• Bonne capacité de communication
• Polyvalence, motivation et autonomie
• Sens de l’organisation et rigueur
