Inventory Control Manager | Mattawan, MI

Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Mattawan seeking Inventory Control Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Oversee cycle counting and physical inventory processes to ensure accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels.
  • Manage and resolve inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production, warehousing, and procurement to maintain optimal inventory flow.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management software and systems.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including forecasting, demand planning, and optimization techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and improve inventory control processes, leading to cost reductions and efficiency gains.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with an ERP implementation or upgrade.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
  • APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
