Director of Programs, Sales and Marketing Description: Provide leadership and strategic direction leading programs, sales and marketing efforts to maximize growth opportunities in alignment with overall business goals.
Responsibilities Strategic Sales & Business Development
Develop and execute the annual sales strategy aligned with company growth and profitability objectives.
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within targeted markets and industries.
Evaluate market conditions, customer trends, competitive activity, and commodity risks to develop effective strategies.
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
Assess current customers' growth plans and identify opportunities to expand market share and revenue.
Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and commercial agreements to achieve revenue and margin objectives.
Develop and communicate accurate sales forecasts to support operational planning and resource allocation.
Marketing & Market Development
Develop and implement marketing strategies that strengthen brand awareness and support business growth objectives.
Oversee digital marketing, website content, trade show participation, advertising, and promotional activities.
Analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive positioning to identify new opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop value propositions and marketing materials that support customer acquisition and retention.
Measure and evaluate marketing effectiveness and return on investment.
Support product, service, and market diversification initiatives.
Customer Experience & Cross-Functional Leadership
Lead outside sales, inside sales, and customer service activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
Cross functional collaboration with Scheduling, Materials, Engineering, Production, Quality, and Finance to support company objectives and customer requirements.
Ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the pursuit through order fulfilment processes.
Resolve escalated customer concerns and critical business issues.
Foster a customer focused culture focused on long‑term partnerships and exceptional service.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a high‑performing, accountable, programs, sales, marketing, and customer service team.
Establish department goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and accountability measures.
Analyze sales, marketing, and customer performance metrics and implement actions to achieve business objectives.
Develop and manage annual budgets.
Drive organizational change initiatives and process improvements that support sustainable growth.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, continuous learning, and professional development.
Requirements Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field required.
MBA or equivalent business leadership experience preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive programs, sales or marketing leadership experience, preferably within a custom manufacturing, contract manufacturing, wire harness, control panel, electronics assembly, or related industrial environment.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and developing strategic customer relationships.
Experience leading programs, sales, customer service, and/or marketing teams in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with proposal development, pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and margin management.
Experience developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans.
Technical & Business Knowledge
Strong understanding of contract manufacturing business models, manufacturing processes, and supply chain dynamics.
Knowledge of wire harness assemblies, cable assemblies, control panels, electronics assemblies, or related products preferred.
Understanding of cost structures, BOM pricing, gross margin analysis, and profitability management.
Proficiency with CRM systems, ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales performance reporting tools.
Ability to analyze market trends, customer demand, and competitive activity to develop actionable business strategies.

Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight travel, for customer visits, trade shows, industry events, and business development activities.
Ability to transport and occasionally lift sales, marketing, or trade‑show materials weighing up to 25–50 pounds.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and operate a computer and other standard office equipment for extended periods.
Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through video conferencing platforms.
