Position Summary Our retail salespeople are the heartbeat and energy of the Lids brand. These cap experts are committed to fostering a passion for sporting and fashion goods by meeting the needs of our loyal customers and occasional buyers alike. Working in our retail stores requires our team to provide each and every customer with an exceptional Lids experience, maintain meticulous product presentations, and be a subject‑matter expert in our products and services.
Responsibilities
Generate revenue through excellent customer service and meeting or exceeding company sales goals.
Engage in store maintenance in accordance with visual guidelines, including proper signage, sales, and cleanliness.
Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the dress code.
Protect company assets within Lids Retail policy guidelines.
Participate in managing store inventory, including processing shipments and resetting merchandise.
Assist with accurate product counts in a consistent and timely manner.
Support and adhere to all Lids Retail policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear and professional manner.

Physical Demands and Requirements
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to occasionally climb a ladder and work with hands overhead.
Ability to stand continuously during shift.
Ability to walk frequently during shift.
Ability to hear and communicate verbally with customers, employees, and other personnel.
Ability to visually observe the store and read written or digital information.
Ability to operate a computer and mobile Point‑of‑Sale system, as well as maneuver relative software programs.
