The Sales Manager is a sales-focused role supporting the growth of IPX Brooklyn. You are responsible for driving revenue through private events, B2B and B2C sales, corporate sponsorships, corporate memberships, membership sales, and the execution of daily programming and events. Your core focus is on

— actively capturing new business opportunities while ensuring customer demand is fulfilled and sales opportunities are converted. Compensation & Structure:
This is a part-time or contractor position, with compensation and schedule to be discussed during the hiring process. The role is designed for someone who can help drive measurable revenue through event sales, memberships, corporate partnerships, and sponsorship opportunities. A meaningful performance bonus or commission structure will be discussed and finalized during the hiring process. Key Responsibilities:
As the Sales Manager, your major responsibility is driving sales from private events, corporate memberships, corporate sponsorships, B2B partnerships, B2C memberships, etc. You will develop and execute sales strategies to capture membership acquisitions, private event bookings, corporate group events, daily event bookings, and private court rentals. Alongside the Programming & Events Manager, you will support local awareness and sales efforts, while helping coordinate with the hourly Member Specialist team on the floor as needed. Qualifications:
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in sales, event sales, hospitality, sports programming, partnerships, sponsorships, or membership growth. A passion for pickleball and community-building is preferred. Proven experience identifying sales opportunities, developing client relationships, and driving new revenue through events, memberships, partnerships, or sponsorships is essential. We are seeking individuals with excellent organizational and project management skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with members, corporate clients, partners, staff, and vendors. A Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
