Key Responsibilities
Employ radiography and CT techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images for review by healthcare providers Work collaboratively with radiologists and the broader medical team to facilitate accurate diagnoses Ensure proper positioning and calibration of equipment for optimal imaging results Uphold radiation safety standards for patients and coworkers alike Maintain meticulous records including imaging logs and equipment upkeep Deliver compassionate care to all patients throughout the imaging process Promote a safe, organized, and efficient imaging work environment Education Qualifications
An Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is mandatory; a Bachelor's Degree is desirable Completion of an accredited radiology program is required Required Certifications
Certification from ARRT (CT and/or Radiography) is essential Current BLS certification or the ability to achieve it within 90 days post-hire Essential Skills
Strong proficiency in diagnostic imaging protocols and patient safety standards Exceptional communication abilities with both patients and interdisciplinary teams Capability to thrive in fast-paced settings and adjust to evolving situations Detail-oriented approach paired with a resolute sense of responsibility Technological fluency with PACS, RIS, and advanced imaging software What Awaits You
