Über

The Business Solutions & Data Analytics Intern will support the newly established BSDA team in driving data‑informed decision‑making across the organization. This role provides hands‑on experience working with modern data tools and technologies including Power BI, SQL, Python, and emerging AI applications.
The ideal candidate is highly curious, analytical, and excited to learn, with a strong foundation in data and programming.
This internship is designed to provide meaningful exposure to real‑world business problems and offers the potential for future growth within the organization for high‑performing candidates.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support development and maintenance of interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to deliver insights to business stakeholders
Assist in writing and optimizing SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from various systems
Utilize Python (or similar tools) to perform data analysis, automation, and data preparation tasks
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data‑driven solutions
Help clean, validate, and organize large datasets to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Assist in exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities
Contribute to ongoing projects related to data modeling, reporting enhancement, and process improvement
Support the evaluation and application of emerging technologies, including AI tools, to improve business efficiency and decision‑making
Document processes, workflows, and solutions to support knowledge sharing across the team
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field
Exposure to programming languages such as Python and SQL required
Familiarity with data analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work with large datasets and maintain high levels of data accuracy
Eagerness to learn new technologies and apply them in a business environment, including AI‑related tools
Strong communication skills and ability to explain data concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
Self‑motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
COMPENSATION The pay for this internship is $24.00 – $25.00 per hour. Please note, however, that Bumble Bee Foods, LLC, in its sole discretion, may modify the above compensation.
