How You'll Make an Impact
* Develop relationships with property managers and residents to promote Spectrum products and services * Achieve monthly sales goals by generating new leads and increasing sales volume in assigned MDU properties * Engage customers through door-to-door visits, lobby events and consistent follow-up * Assist existing customers by introducing additional services to generate incremental revenue * Resolve customer concerns according to Spectrum policies, ensuring issues are followed through to completion * Maintain awareness of competitor activity and share market insights with management * Attend sales meetings and training sessions to strengthen your knowledge and skills * Accurately complete sales documentation and handle customer funds in alignment with company guidelines
Working Conditions
* Spends approximately 80% of time in outside environment for extended periods of time in any season with potential exposure to inclement weather * Must be able to lift 10-20 pounds for 20 - 30 feet (digital boxes, etc.) * Exposure to moderate noise levels * Must be able to work evenings and weekends * Variable hours: may include weekends, holidays, and split days off * Walking door to door for extensive periods through local communities
What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
* High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Experience
* 1+ years of experience in sales or customer service
Skills
* Knowledge of cold call sales skills, persuasion, and clear communication skills * Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned territories and company facilities using a reliable personal vehicle * Ability to work outside for extended periods in any season and/or during inclement weather * Familiarity with computer operating systems, a myriad of consumer and commercial communications devices (e.g., PDAs, smartphones, routers, modems, converters, and wireless devices), and computer software applications * Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record within Company required standards
Preferred Qualifications
Experience
* 2+ years of sales or relevant work experience
Skills
* Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on data networking fundamentals * Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services * Experience with consumer education of products and services * Success in a previous sales position, prospecting or cold calling; direct sales experience is preferred

The base pay for this position generally is between $33,200.00 and $66,000.00 . The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $65,000 .
