Utilize a consultative sales approach to sell Construction and Solid Waste services to small and/or less complex commercial accounts within an assigned territory or segment.
Prospect and close sales to meet revenue goals by developing and implementing effective selling strategies.
Prepare for and execute cold calls to secure appointments with potential commercial customers.
Conduct pre‑sales activities, gathering marketing materials and pricing plans, and identifying customer needs, interests, and potential objections.
Use sales productivity software tools (e.g., prospect and customer database, proposal program, pricing tools) to support the sales cycle.
Facilitate follow‑up meetings with prospects and match services to customer needs by demonstrating knowledge of customers, pricing, and competition.
Recommend equipment optimization and leasing options based on industry and company knowledge.
Negotiate and close sales by effectively communicating alternatives and positions to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
Prepare and deliver complex sales proposals.
Perform post‑sale administrative work to ensure successful product or service implementation.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 3 years of sales experience.
