As a Security Officer Level III Armed Driver in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon12:00 PM - 05:45 PMThur12:00 PM - 11:30 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations.
- Help to deter unauthorized activity, theft-related incidents, and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and observing customer and employee activity.
- Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, report suspicious behavior, and support closing, opening, and after-hours security-related procedures as directed by site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or a minimum of 5 years of armed security-related experience, is required.
- A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
