- $500.00 travel allowance ($250 to assignment / $250 from assignment for qualified travelers)

Position SummaryRCM Healthcare is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a correctional facility in Bishopville, South Carolina. In this role, you will provide essential healthcare services to an incarcerated population within a secure environment while ensuring high-quality patient care and safety. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, administering medications and treatments, responding to medical emergencies, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. This opportunity is ideal for nurses who thrive in fast-paced settings and are passionate about delivering compassionate, professional care.
Responsibilities Schedule / Shift- Shift details: Day and Night shift openings available
- Every other weekend required
- Schedule: Three 13-hour shifts with 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Hours per week: Approximately 37.5 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks with possibility of extension
- Start Dates: Monthly start dates available
- Conduct patient assessments and provide nursing care in accordance with correctional healthcare protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and injections while maintaining accurate documentation
- Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate appropriate follow-up care
- Maintain compliance with facility regulations, infection control standards, and patient confidentiality requirements
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, mental health professionals, and facility staff to support patient care and safety
- Required: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
- Required: Active South Carolina RN License or Compact Nursing License
- Required: AHA or American Red Cross BLS Certification
- Required: TB test completed within the last year
- Minimum of 1 year recent nursing experience in Correctional, Behavioral Health/Psych, LTC, or Acute Care required
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to maintain professionalism and sound clinical judgment in high-pressure situations
