Cannot accept C2C or Visa transfer candidates Must be located in or near State College, PA We are seeking a hands‑on Systems & Network Support Engineer to support a fast‑paced technology environment in State College, PA. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining office‑wide infrastructure, network reliability, workstation support, and overall IT operations for a collaborative software development organization. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, service‑oriented IT professional who thrives in a dynamic onsite environment and can effectively balance infrastructure support, troubleshooting, security, and end‑user technical assistance. This role requires someone who is highly adaptable and capable of independently managing office systems, networking, workstation support, and day‑to‑day operational technology needs in a fast‑paced setting. Strong candidates will have a background in systems administration, infrastructure support, network support, or IT operations, with recent, practical experience in modern enterprise environments rather than legacy or mainframe‑focused systems. Required Technical Skills Networking administration and support Windows workstation support and imaging General IT systems and infrastructure knowledge Google Workspace/Google Administration Preferred Skills Docker AWS Security, antivirus, and threat mitigation experience Key Responsibilities Maintain and support the office’s wired Ethernet and wireless networking infrastructure Ensure availability, reliability, and security of internal systems and office technology Administer Google Workspace services, including Gmail, Google Voice, and related tools Manage workstation deployment, imaging, setup, and troubleshooting Provide onsite technical support for employees and office systems Monitor and strengthen network and endpoint security posture Troubleshoot infrastructure, connectivity, and hardware issues in a timely manner Support day‑to‑day IT operations and respond to urgent technical issues as needed Fast‑paced software and technology‑driven organization Stable networking and reliable systems are essential to business operations Team‑oriented culture requiring flexibility and responsiveness Must be comfortable shifting priorities and handling urgent support requests The hourly rate for this position is $36.13.
