To help reach its objectives, Alpha Networks is looking for new Test and automation Engineer to join the R&D department.

Alpha Networks is the European leader in the OTT industry; we work for small to large customers such as Bouygues Telecom, Orange, Blackpills, Vodafone and this industry sector is in permanent expansion.
Key responsibilities:
Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential risks. This includes the testing strategy definition & evolution.
Collaborate with developers and other testers on good testing techniques and in the continuous improvement of our testing practices.
Perform both functional and positive/negative testing of your squad’s work.
Work on automation of acceptance scenarios for both APIs and UIs based on existing or yet-to-be-chosen tools & frameworks such as Cypress, Postman, …
Handle bug reports by other teams and make sure that they are reproducible and write clear & concise steps to do it in a bug report.
Communicate issues and elevate if needed by understanding the bigger picture and impacts of any bug.
Your profile:
Graduate, Bachelor, or Master in computer science or equivalent by experience.
Preferably, some experience in API or Web UI test automation.
You are an early adopter, always eager to explore new technologies.
Good communication skills with the confidence to challenge decisions where necessary.
Naturally curious, you are an experimented (or motivated) troubleshooter.
Experience with any programming languages is a plus.
Experience with GIT and continuous delivery tools is a plus.
Experience in working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus.
You have a good sense of humour (mandatory).
You’re fluent in French and can sustain a technical conversation in English.
