Mount Sinai Brooklyn is seeking to add a full-time faculty member to its practice located at 3201 Kings Highway in Brooklyn.
This is a community hospital that performs a range of general, orthopedic, vascular and urologic surgery, as well as endoscopy and interventional radiology procedures. There is no obstetrics, pediatrics, or cardiac surgery. Call is taken from home and as a small tight knit department there is a major emphasize on collegiality and teamwork.
We are seeking a ABA board certified, or board eligible Anesthesiologist comfortable working solo. The ideal candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction while being committed to the mission of Mount Sinai Health System.
Candidates with existing ties to the Brooklyn community, or who have an interest in creating community relationships are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Staff general operating rooms, interventional radiology and endoscopy
- There is no Pediatrics, Cardiac, Obstetrics or major trauma
- Overnight call is from home
- Collaborate with multi-specialty practice colleagues as an integral part of a world-class health system
- Fully integrated Epic Electronic Health Record
Qualifications
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University
- New York Medical License
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
- Committed to Mount Sinai Brooklyn and the communities we serve
- Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
- A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System
Compensation range from 535K to 600K (dependent on the amount of call taken, and not including benefits)

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
