Position Summary: When it comes to search engine optimization, from on page copy to schema you know every word counts—but it all starts with a well-rounded strategy backed by industry expertise. That’s where you come in. As our SEO/GEO Manager, you’ll be our resident expert on all things organic search. What You’ll Do Planning and Management of Client Campaigns: Provide strategic thought leadership, in partnership with SEO Directors. Perform research to gain a better understanding of target audience, brand, category, and competitive landscape. Conduct thematic research to generate relevant content themes for new and existing programs. Carry out full SEO/GEO audits with recommendations for programs including: URL structure, Navigation Structure, Canonicalization Issues, Contextual links, HTML & XML sitemaps, Robots.txt, Title, Header, Image, Keyword, and Description Tags. Provide Social SEO recommendations. Develop and implement GEO strategies to optimize client brands’ presence in responses generated by AI engines (e.g., Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews). Structure content for LLM ingestion, including entity optimization, semantic markup, schema.org structured data, and authoritative citations. Monitor and measure brand visibility in generative engine responses using GEO tools (e.g., Otterly.ai, SEMrush AI Overview Tracker). Enhance on-page optimization based on keyword research and program goals, and pursue off-page tactics including article syndication to improve domain authority. Troubleshoot and resolve campaign errors and issues in a timely manner or escalate as necessary. Report program status to Account Manager or client team. Support Account team on client calls with technical campaign information. What You Bring A leader in SEO/GEO with a minimum of 7+ years of online marketing experience and an in-depth understanding of the search engine ranking process, plus basic knowledge of HTML, PHP, CSS, and web standards. Bilingual (French and English) required. A highly organized self-starter with a proven track record of improving organic search results through application of SEO best practices. Strong multi-tasking ability with demonstrated knowledge of key SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Bright Edge, MOZ/STAT, Advanced Web Ranking). Team player with ability to collaborate with other departments, manage multiple projects, and translate metrics into measurable results. Polished communicator capable of delivering compelling pitches and handling technically complex discussions. Understanding of process and numbers and their importance to agency and client success. Salary at DAC is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the individual’s education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000.
