YOUR ROLE Do you want to make an impact on the commercial growth of an innovative logistics proposition? As a Solution Design Manager Commerce, you play a key role within our Device Lifecycle Services (DLS) business. You translate the ambitions and challenges of potential customers into scalable, efficient, and compelling logistics solutions and substantiate them with strong business cases and cost models. In this role, you are the content sparring partner for customers and Business Development. You not only design logistics concepts but also present and defend them towards customers and internal stakeholders. Thus, you make a direct contribution to winning new customers and further developing our DLS proposition. WHAT WILL YOU DO? As a Solution Design Manager Commerce, you are responsible for developing and detailing customer solutions within commercial trajectories. You do this in close collaboration with Business Development, Operations, IT, Finance, and external partners. This is not a back-office role. You are close to the customer, move in commercial trajectories, and combine conceptual thinking, analytical sharpness, and persuasive power. You work on customized solutions in a dynamic, international environment where technology, automation, and customer value are central. Specifically, you will be involved in: Designing innovative logistics concepts, including processes and flows Translating customer needs within Device Lifecycle Services (such as inbound, configuration, repair, returns, financing, and redeployments) into scalable solutions Drafting and calculating cost models and business cases to support sales trajectories Presenting and explaining solution designs to customers, including made design choices and trade-offs Providing content support to Business Development during tender and sales trajectories Coordinating with internal disciplines (such as IT, Finance, Operations Excellence) and external suppliers Contributing to the optimization and renewal of existing solutions for current DLS customers Actively following developments, innovations, and trends within logistics and supply chain WHERE ARE WE LOOKING FOR? You feel at home in a role where content, commerce, and collaboration come together. You can structure and clearly explain complex logistics issues - both to customers and internal teams. In addition, you bring the following with you: Minimum 3 years of experience in Solution Design, Logistics Engineering, or a similar role within a warehouse or supply chain environment Experience with commercial bid and sales trajectories Strong analytical and conceptual thinking ability Experience with data analysis and modeling tools (e.g., Qlik Sense or similar) Excellent command of the English language (Dutch is a plus) You are flexible, work structured, and remain sharp under time pressure WHAT DO WE OFFER YOU? As a Solution Design Manager, you will receive the following from us: A gross monthly salary between €4,158.68 - €6,021.71 and 8% holiday pay (starting salary dependent on experience); 25 vacation days, with the possibility of four extra days when you do not miss – without us losing sight of your health. A one-year contract with a view to a permanent position; In the basic, a full-time employment, although a part-time employment (32 or 36 hours per week) is also possible; Flexible working hours, you are the owner of your own agenda and have the possibility to work from home; A dynamic work environment at one of the leading logistics service providers in the Netherlands.
