Description WO end date to be extended out further on a month by month basis. Job Duties:
Develops innovation strategies, processes, and best practices. Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects. Supports and ensures business objectives being met. Leads the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design. Leads the work of other small group of 3 to 4 engineers for assigned Engineering projects Leads and participates in end to end service implementations, data feeds ingestion, and orchestration. Designs and implements low latency services. Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Troubleshoots business and production issues . What are the top 3 skills needed/required?
Good Backend related development skills, Operational Excellence dealing with running production services, and also good engineering excellence skills driving features in a project. What skills and/or experience would separate the top candidate?
Java, Sprint methodology, operationalizing production services What makes a candidate profile stand out to you?
Good experience in past working with backend technologies. What will this person's daytoday responsibilities be?
Developing and designing features assigned by the team in an independent manner. What is the project this person will be working on?
W+ MCAM related projects How will they contribute to the project?
Will be a full time developer working on delivering the core W+ projects. What is the makeup of the team?
The team has a mix of FE, OL and BE engineers working in a pod manner driving projects. Does the candidate need to be in a certain client location/hub or remote?
Preferably Seattle if possible otherwise, close to any approved Tech Hub location like Sunnyvale, etc. Will a client badge be needed at onset or in the future?
Not needed for now. If hybrid or in office role, how many days a week will the candidate need to come into the office?
Potentially 2 days a week. Please note that candidates who will be working in Bentonville, AR, Reston, VA or some Texas locations must have a Vendor SAFE background check completed. Does this contract have the opportunity to extend or convert to an FTE?
