CORE Foodservice has a Market Director opportunity in Montreal, QC!
The Market Director is responsible for leading and managing the sales department and generating sales with effective planning and implementation of company policies, procedures and culture.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
Responsible for all aspects of field sales execution. Including but not limited to:
- Manage the development of market specific Platinum Partner portfolios and assure that all associates have a complete portfolio.
- Oversee strategic objective planning and collaboration with the division Client Management Team.
- Actively manage Team Leads and Sales Associates to guarantee established sales metrics are being met by using our CIRI (CRM) tool.
- Review weekly Sales Team performance and call data to ensure goals are being met.
- Provide feedback and coaching to Sales Team based on weekly reporting.
- Pro-actively work with in the field and provide specific feedback for your team members on a trimester basis via our Performance Management System.
- Selecting, orienting, training, assigning, coaching and counseling of team members in your Market.
- Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions enforcing policies and procedures.
- Foster and maintain company culture within your Sales Team.
- Establish and foster relationships with client peers, Regional Sales Managers.
- Evaluate and ensure that sales resources are accurately aligned to the requirements of the business. Distributor dedication, street resources, non-commercial dedicated team, etc.
- Manage and develop local distribution relationships within the market.
- Review monthly mileage logs via Everlance
Qualifications
To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Reside in, or within driving distance of the assigned territory
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record spanning 5 years
- Possess some restaurant operation experience
- Ability to travel and stay overnight if needed

Le/la Directeur(trice) de Marché est responsable de diriger et de gérer le département des ventes, en générant des ventes grâce à une planification efficace et à la mise en œuvre des politiques, procédures et de la culture de l’entreprise.
Responsabilités / Fonctions / Tâches
Responsable de tous les aspects de l’exécution des ventes sur le terrain, y compris mais sans s’y limiter :
- Gérer le développement des portefeuilles de partenaires Platine spécifiques au marché et s’assurer que tous les associés disposent d’un portefeuille complet.
- Superviser la planification des objectifs stratégiques et collaborer avec l’équipe de gestion des clients de la division.
- Gérer activement les chefs d’équipe et les représentants des ventes pour garantir que les indicateurs de performance établis sont atteints en utilisant notre outil CRM CIRI.
- Examiner les performances hebdomadaires de l’équipe de vente et les données d’appels pour s’assurer que les objectifs sont atteints.
- Fournir des commentaires et du coaching à l’équipe de vente sur la base des rapports hebdomadaires.
- Travailler de manière proactive sur le terrain et fournir des commentaires spécifiques à vos membres d’équipe chaque trimestre via notre système de gestion de la performance.
- Sélectionner, orienter, former, assigner, encadrer et conseiller les membres de l’équipe dans votre marché.
- Communiquer les attentes du poste ; planifier, surveiller, évaluer et revoir les contributions tout en appliquant les politiques et procédures.
- Favoriser et maintenir la culture d’entreprise au sein de votre équipe de vente.
- Établir et entretenir des relations avec les pairs clients et les directeurs régionaux des ventes.
- Évaluer et s’assurer que les ressources de vente sont correctement alignées avec les besoins de l’entreprise : dévouement des distributeurs, ressources de terrain, équipe dédiée non commerciale, etc.
- Gérer et développer les relations avec les distributeurs locaux dans le marché.
- Examiner les journaux de kilométrage mensuels via Everlance.
Qualifications
Pour réussir dans ce poste, la personne doit être capable d’exécuter chaque tâche essentielle de manière satisfaisante. Les exigences ci-dessous représentent les connaissances, compétences et/ou aptitudes requises :
- Maîtrise de Microsoft Office
- Résider dans ou à proximité du territoire assigné
- Permis de conduire valide avec un dossier sans infractions depuis 5 ans
- Expérience en exploitation de restaurant souhaitée
- Capacité à voyager et à passer la nuit à l’extérieur si nécessaire
