Über

What You Will Do Use and provide creative solutions to complex technical system and software integration problems. Work closely with other software engineers and systems engineers to design ideal solutions with the end user and operational needs in mind. Support new and legacy military and commercial programs from concept and requirements, to design, development, integration, test and potentially subsequent maintenance tasking. Provide technical leadership through mentorship, providing technical assistance to others, participation in reviews and proposals, and design and process improvement. Qualifications Degree in a STEM subject and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Experience in software requirements, design, development, integration and test. Experience developing and testing software using C, C++, C#, Java or closely related languages. Experience developing software in a Windows environment. Experience developing software in a Linux environment. Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Perl or Python. Experience in software systems design, integration and management. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance prior to the start date; U.S. citizenship is required. Preferred Qualifications Understanding of Operating Systems. Experience using DevOps tools such as Git, Gitlab, Docker or Podman. Experience with software optimization techniques and timing analysis for real‑time operation. Knowledge of software drivers for hardware interfaces. Knowledge of common hardware interfaces and data protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, RS‑422, USB, PCI. Experience with debugging tools and ensuring software integrity. Experience developing software product requirements. Understanding of computer architecture and optimization techniques. Experience with Software Configuration Management principles, environments and tools. Experience in an Agile development environment using Jira, Azure DevOps or equivalent. Knowledge of parallel programming principles.
