Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of launching products (devices) through GTM (Go To Market).
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project parameters, then translate customer needs into formal requirements, using standardized processes.
  • Develop detailed project schedule, resource plan, and status reports, managing task assignment to project resources and reporting on and managing project scope throughout the lifecycle
  • Interface with all areas affected by the project, including end user, services organizations, vendors and implementation partners.
  • Review project deliverables for accuracy, and apprise management of risks, issues, and recommended mitigations.
  • This position is responsible for concurrently managing a number of small to mid-size projects in the new products (devices) area. Projects may be technical in nature and have impacts associated with the T-Mobile enterprise wide system applications, network, and telecommunication devices. This position will manage work utilizing standard project management methodologies and processes - projects have clear start/end dates, specific manpower resource allocations and budgets, and are clearly identified as a "project" by the business
  • Is accountable for creating and maintaining strong partnerships with key stakeholders, as well as with other PMOs and PMs. Effectively utilizes these partnerships to drive project delivery while maintaining a strong sense of respect and trust on the project team.
  • Creates and drives project status reporting and meetings as communication and management tools to ensure project health and to provide transparency to risks and issues that require stakeholder support and action. Proactively identifies potential risks to the project and puts in place mitigation plans with teams input.
  • Creates a project schedule through defining needed activities, sequencing, resourcing, estimation of durations and resources; validates schedule with team. Uses appropriately as a communication and management tool with key stakeholders to ensure project stays on schedule, making needed adjustments to address project exceptions.
  • Uses planning, estimating and controlling skills to prevent scope creep. Can manage and help others to understand the impact of change.
Qualifications: Minimum Required:
  • 2-4 yrs formal project management work experience
  • Must be proficient and have experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Project and Visio
  • Working understanding of PMI principles and practices; demonstrated ability to apply PMI principals required
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; effectively communicates with all employee levels and levels of management.
  • Ability to identify project impacting issues and work with more senior members of the Project Management team to develop and implement solutions.
  • Experience with Go To Market functions a plus
Desired
  • Formal Project Mgmt certification (PMP a plus)
EducationMinimum Required
  • Bachelors Degree. Business Administration, Project Management
  • A combination of equivalent experience and education may be considered.
