Position Overview for Certified Med Tech: We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Certified Med Techs to assist our residents with their daily living activities while ensuring their medical needs are met. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and have a heart for service, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Key Responsibilities as a Certified Med Tech:
Medication Administration: Administer medications to residents according to their service plans and monitor for any side effects. Personal Care Support: Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility, promoting their dignity and independence. Documentation: Accurately document residents' health statuses and any changes, adhering to community standards and regulations. Emotional Support: Provide emotional and social support to residents, fostering a warm and welcoming environment. Safety and Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations and community standards to ensure the well-being of residents. Desired Characteristics as a Certified Med Tech:
Passionate About Care: A genuine desire to improve residents' lives through compassionate service. Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a supportive environment. Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail, especially in following care plans and documentation. Adaptable: Ability to manage multiple tasks with a positive attitude, even under pressure. Experience and Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required, relevant experience in healthcare or a related field preferred. Certification as a Med Tech required. Must be able to obtain any required food handling and sanitation certifications.
