Job Details Flexible work arrangements are available for this position, including the ability to work remotely within the United States. Enterprise Technology is dedicated to supporting the mission of the University of Texas at Austin of unlocking potential and preparing future leaders of the state.
Purpose This position will support the University’s Next Generation Network program which includes improving wireless coverage and support for end users across the campus. The individual hired for this position will act as the primary point of contact for scheduling, submitting updates, coordinating meetings among various campus groups, communicating with stakeholders, and documenting and supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of technology initiatives. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage large task lists, prioritize work, and follow through on commitments; the ability to adapt to changing priorities and take initiative to support the project team where needed.
Responsibilities
Scheduling, Sequencing, & Execution Planning:
Develop and manage detailed project implementation schedules for campus-wide and College Schools and Units (CSU) that impact projects.

Track dependencies between projects occurring in shared spaces or involving shared resources.
Space & Access Coordination:
Schedule physical space access across academic buildings, research facilities, and administrative and shared campus spaces.
Serve as the central point of coordination between College Schools and Units, IT Infrastructure and service teams, and Facilities, construction, and maintenance groups.
Ensure space readiness (access approvals, timing alignment, occupancy constraints).
Project Management & Implementation Support:
Manage defined projects or project phases under the guidance of a senior PM.
Track scope, milestones, deliverables, and action items.
Support execution by assigning and tracking tasks, monitoring progress, and identifying risks and issues.
Facilitate implementation activities such as migrations, upgrades, and campus changes.
Ensure projects move from planning into successful delivery, not stall in coordination.
Cross‑CSU Coordination & Communication:
Act as a liaison between IT, Facilities, and non‑IT campus groups to align schedules and execution plans; track CSU‑specific constraints, exceptions, and local approvals; ensure communication reaches the correct CSU contacts and stakeholders.
Documentation & Tracking:
Maintain schedules, coordination logs, dependency lists, and change records; track execution status and surface schedule risks or conflicts early; support audit, reporting, and institutional memory needs; work with stakeholders to modify scheduling when conflicts arise.
