What you will be doing as the Quality Assurance Analyst:
Develops, implements, and maintains test plans and test cases for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Maintain automated test scripts for regression, integration and performance testing.
Recommend and contribute to improvements in QA tools, processes, and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide technical guidance or mentoring to junior QA team members as needed.
Leverages AI-enabled tools and analytics to accelerate test design, optimize test coverage, identify risk areas, and improve defect detection.
Applies AI-assisted techniques (e.g., test case generation, exploratory testing support, defect pattern analysis) to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Identify, document, track and verify defects, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
Participates in collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
Participates in code reviews and provide input on quality and testability.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What you will need as the Quality Assurance Analyst:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of related experience that includes experience in Quality Assurance Analysis
Performs moderately complex testing functions and tasks across one or more insurance products or applications.
Analyzes business and technical requirements to assess test coverage, risk, and the impact of proposed changes.
Plans and executes test efforts for simple to moderately complex projects, incorporating both manual and automated approaches.
Uses data-driven and AI-assisted insights to improve test effectiveness, prioritize testing activities, and identify quality trends.
Conducts peer reviews of test artifacts (test cases, test plans, automation scripts) to promote consistency and quality standards.
Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making.
Exhibits business knowledge, including an understanding of insurance concepts, business processes, and supporting technology systems.
Demonstrates a customer-focused mindset by being responsive, consultative, collaborative, and detail-oriented in work approach.
Adheres to quality, security, and regulatory standards, including appropriate and responsible use of AI tools in accordance with company policy.
