Job Title Sales/Marketing Associate
Employment Full-time. Non-exempt. Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00am - 5:30pm.
Pay & Bonus Starting at $25.00 (D.O.E.) with bonus incentives.

Job Summary The Community Relations Associate communicates with residents, families, internal staff and outside agencies as required, conducts tours, solves family problems, maintains admission records, and works with referral agencies, organizations and institutions. The role represents MorningStar professionally to achieve move‑ins and contribute to occupancy goals, and is rewarded with commission incentives.
Responsibilities
Conduct tours of the community for potential residents, families, outside visitors, and representatives from placement agencies and organizations.
Attend and participate in in‑service educational programs related to the psychosocial needs of the elderly, community resources, and admission requirements (Title VIII and Title XIX) as necessary.
Learn and practice MorningStar's 7 Steps for Relationship Selling.
Manage lead follow‑up to all phone calls, emails, and in‑person tours; assist in advancing and closing sales.
Ensure suites are ready before resident arrival by coordinating with Maintenance and Housekeeping.
Provide consistent new resident welcome and orientation practices, including welcome baskets and Resident Ambassador introductions.
Communicate necessary information on new residents to all departments.
Schedule details for move‑ins and move‑outs (elevator availability, delivery areas, meal times, etc.) to avoid conflicts with scheduled activities.
Assist the Director of Community Relations in planning and implementing marketing events.
Actively work to retain all residents, supporting the Director of Community Relations, Wellness Director, and Executive Director.
Maintain professional confidentiality.
Qualifications
Demonstrate core values: love, kindness, honesty, goodness, fairness, respect.
Minimum high school diploma; two years or more of college preferred.
Knowledge of community resources and needs; ability to handle inquiries and relate to prospective residents, awareness of community services and cost structures; knowledge of related services available in the community; ability to handle confidential information and admission records; judgement; driving ability; conduct tours.
Computer literate and able to learn Resident/Marketing software.
Work well with staff, residents, families, and outside community; personable, friendly, and able to work independently.
