Join our design engineering project/test group to support development testing, qualification testing, customer field support related to our family of product lines that provide fire protection systems to our commercial aviation, military and commercial ground vehicle customers. What You Will Learn: Engineering Technician position responsible for chamber programming, testing, and troubleshooting of current products and development programs, hardware and software for aerospace products supported by the Engineering Test group. This will include responsibility for data capture, documentation, implementation for DO-160 - MIL-STD-810 environmental type testing. Provides technical input for new or modifications to existing data acquisition systems and test. Execute test per the procedure or other requirements documents provided. Provide information to help develop plans, procedures and reports. Hands on experience in a variety of areas including- basic electric wiring, mechanical and hydraulic test systems knowledge, pressure systems, fixture fabrication, data acquisition and instrumentation set up. Provide input for development and qualification test plans, procedures and reports. Interfacing with customer, Systems Engineers and Program Managers to address compliance issues as needed. Ordering materials and equipment as needed to support planned tests. Ensuring tests are properly set up and instrumented. Supporting Test engineers in their execution of similar activities Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience General knowledge of hand tools and ability to use them. Demonstrates communication skills with the manager or test engineer, and be effective at expressing status, issues/concerns, and successes. The salary range for this role is 41,400 USD - 72,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
