About the Role Licensed Insurance Sales Representative – responsible for building client relationships, matching customers with the best coverage for their needs, and protecting community assets.
Responsibilities
Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
Solicit for new business via telephone, texting, networking, and other lead sources.
Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
Secure all trailing documents from customers.
Treat each customer contact as a cross‑sell opportunity, including financial products.
Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements.
Maintain knowledge of new products.
Prospect and generate new business through leads (we provide 35 leads per day) and referral sources.
Qualifications
Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful, and be coachable.
Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
Proficiency to multi‑task, follow‑thru and follow‑up.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Property & Casualty license preferred but not required; training provided.
Prior sales experience required in another industry if not already licensed.
Career‑oriented vision.
Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is beneficial, but not required.
Compensation & Benefits Base salary plus uncapped commission. Starting compensation for entry‑level applicants: $36,000 base plus commissions, average first‑year earnings $86,000+. Experienced licensed applicants: $38,000 base or higher, with top performers earning $150,000+ and some exceeding $200,000.
