Join Allied Universal as an armed officer in a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to discourage security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. This role offers the chance to support access activity and deliver exceptional customer service while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through the proper chain of command.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones while maintaining awareness of access points, equipment areas, and other sensitive locations.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to controlled areas in accordance with site policies and post orders.
- Perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements, maintaining professional bearing and readiness to respond to security-related events.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
