Overview Lutron is seeking a Copywriting Manager (Brand & Performance) to join the Communications team at Lutron's Conshohocken, PA office location. In this role, you will lead the development of messaging that strengthens brand equity and drives measurable business results. Within the Communications team, you will translate the essence of the Lutron identity into narratives and experiences that motivate customers, partners, and professionals to engage. This role sits at the intersection of brand storytelling and performance marketing. You will oversee copy across the full customer journey—from high‑impact brand campaigns to conversion‑focused business campaigns—ensuring every message reflects Lutron’s distinctive voice while delivering clarity, relevance, and performance. Responsibilities Brand & Performance Copy Leadership Lead the strategy and execution of brand and performance copywriting across campaigns, channels, business segments, and customer touchpoints. Develop compelling narratives that balance emotional storytelling with technical accuracy and conversion‑driven clarity. Ensure copy consistently reinforces Lutron’s position and identity ethos. Ensure message is effectively deployed across platforms with a strong understanding of how copy must adapt to different channels, formats, and user behaviors.
Content & Campaign Execution Own copy development across integrated campaigns, digital and physical experiences, product marketing, and paid media. Partner with marketing to optimize copy for engagement, conversion, and ROI through testing and iteration. Translate complex technical concepts into clear, persuasive, and benefit‑driven messaging tailored to audience needs.
Optimization & Performance Establish frameworks for A/B testing, performance measurement, and continuous optimization of copy. Use data and insights to refine messaging and improve conversion rates and customer engagement. Identify opportunities to scale high‑performing messaging across channels and business segments.
Editorial & Voice Stewardship Champion and evolve Lutron’s brand voice and messaging architecture. Ensure consistency and excellence across all copy outputs. Establish and maintain copywriting standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Team & Cross‑Functional Leadership Mentor and lead writers, fostering a culture of craft excellence, constructive feedback, and creative rigor. Collaborate closely with design, sales, product, digital, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive, high‑impact experiences. Manage workflows that ensure speed, quality, and alignment with business priorities.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA required. Minimum 15 years experience in copywriting across brand and performance marketing, including 5+ years leading writers, managing editorial workflows, and driving cross‑functional collaboration. Experience with digital marketing channels including paid media, web, email, and CRM. Familiarity with using performance data, audience insights, SEO principles, and digital best practices to improve copy effectiveness. Proven ability to deliver results‑driven copy while translating complex technical concepts into compelling, customer‑focused messaging. Fluency with design and project management software.
