Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on Document Management.
Proven experience working with government projects and processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with industry-standard document management tools and systems.
Proficient in electronic document management systems.
Experience in organizing, categorizing, and maintaining electronic documents.
Knowledge of best practices in electronic document control.
In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance, including but not limited to HIPAA, SOX, PII, PCI, PHI, GDPR, CCPA, etc.
Proven track record of ensuring adherence to regulatory standards in document management.
Ability to implement and monitor compliance processes related to document management.
Expertise in record retention policies.
Knowledge of document destruction policies and procedures.
Proactive approach to ensuring compliance with record retention regulations.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for document management processes.
Analyze existing document management systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
Design, develop, and implement document management solutions that meet business needs and compliance requirements.
Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of document management systems and processes.
Provide training and support to end-users on document management best practices.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in document management and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Work closely with government agencies to understand their specific document management needs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, to integrate document management solutions with other business systems.
Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation for all aspects of document management processes.
Pay:
Range: $75,000 - $95,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
