Job Description Job Summary: Surgical Technologist provides technical support to ensure safe, ready, and properly stocked surgical settings. This role prepares surgical rooms and patients, maintains sterile technique, and assists the surgical team by supplying instruments and equipment throughout procedures. Responsibilities:
Prepare and set up the surgical room with required supplies, instruments, and equipment prior to procedures. Clean, inspect, and verify readiness of the operating area before and after surgical procedures. Obtain, stage, and manage sterile supplies and equipment needed for the assigned procedure. Prepare surgical patients and assist the surgeon by anticipating and providing required instruments. Maintain sterile field integrity and follow established infection prevention practices. Qualifications:
Maintain a certified Surgical Technologist credential from a nationally accredited credentialing organization. Complete a nationally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologists after high school graduation or equivalency. Complete an appropriate surgical technology training program through qualifying U.S. military or Public Health Service pathways. Possess at least one year of Surgical Technologist experience in a healthcare facility within the four years immediately prior to January 1, 2015. Demonstrate competency in sterile processing, surgical room preparation, and instrument/equipment readiness. Benefits & Growth:
