HOURS/SCHEDULE: 40 hours
WORKER TYPE: W2
CORE REQUIREMENTS: • 3-5 years of experience in Application Testing, Software Quality Assurance, or Validation Testing • Experience developing test strategies, test plans, and risk-based testing approaches • Intermediate experience with Defect Management, Test Planning, Selenium Automation, and Workday Testing • Knowledge of Computer Software Assurance (CSA), Computer System Validation (CSV), and Functional Risk Assessment (FRA) methodologies • Experience designing and executing test scenarios, test cases, and validation scripts • Experience supporting System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) • Experience with test management and traceability tools such as ALM, ALM/ALVIS, or similar platforms • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field (or equivalent experience)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: • Experience supporting Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Healthcare technology initiatives • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC processes • Experience managing requirements traceability and validation documentation • Ability to coordinate testing activities across business and technical teams • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
WE CONSIDER IT A BONUS IF YOU ALSO HAVE: • Experience with Selenium, UFT (Unified Functional Testing), or other automation testing tools • Experience testing Workday, SAP, or other enterprise applications • Knowledge of GxP-regulated environments and validation best practices • Experience supporting digital transformation, modernization, or implementation projects • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project methodologies • Experience supporting regulatory audits and compliance-driven testing initiatives
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans aligned with project objectives • Analyze business and system requirements to identify testing scope, risks, and validation needs • Perform risk-based testing activities and Functional Risk Assessments (FRA) • Design, develop, and execute test scenarios, test cases, and automated test scripts • Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) activities • Coordinate testing efforts with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and project teams • Identify, document, track, and manage defects throughout the defect lifecycle • Ensure requirements traceability across testing and validation deliverables • Create and maintain test evidence, validation documentation, and audit-ready records • Support CSA and CSV activities in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards • Utilize ALM, ALVIS, or similar test management tools to manage testing activities and reporting • Monitor testing progress and provide release readiness assessments and status reporting • Support issue resolution efforts and collaborate with development and business teams to address defects and risks • Ensure testing deliverables meet quality, compliance, and regulatory expectations • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes, automation, and validation practices
