My client, a fast-paced and rapidly growing distribution business, is looking for an Internal Sales Executive to join their busy commercial team.
This is a key role where you’ll manage customer relationships, convert enquiries into orders, and play an active part in developing new sales opportunities. If you enjoy a mix of sales, customer service and administration, this could be an excellent next step.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow selected customer accounts to achieve sales targets
Handle all incoming enquiries professionally and efficiently
Build strong product and industry knowledge to support customers
Raise and process sales orders, purchase orders, quotations and invoices
Provide accurate quotations using up-to-date pricing
Follow up to secure new business and protect margins
Work closely with procurement to support buying activity
Liaise with internal departments to meet customer expectations
Resolve customer queries swiftly and professionallyMaintain accurate CRM records and filing systems
Suggest improvements to enhance processes and workflow
Ensure all work meets ISO9001:2015 and company standards
General administrative and ad-hoc support as required
About You
Minimum of 3 GCSEs (including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above)
Passionate about sales with a strong customer service background
Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and other IT systems
Experience in a similar sales or internal account role is desirable
Experience in a distribution environment would be an advantage
