The Data and Analytics Architects are responsible for the "back end" components of the organization's BIA environment from standards, architecture, and design perspectives. Overall responsibility for the implementation and support of the data movement and engineering processes required to populate the organization's custom-built analytic data structures (e.g., staging areas, data warehouse, and data marts) as well as the design of these structures. Primary duties and responsibilities include:
Define and evolve the data architecture in alignment with enterprise standards to support diverse use cases. Establish best practices for source data analysis, ETL design, and documentation. Translate user requirements into data models and supporting applications. Establish and manage QA related functions including testing and peer reviews. Provide technical oversight of the activities of ETL developers and data analysts. Serve as a technical subject matter expert to provide consultation for BIA-related initiatives.
Qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in Information/Computer Science, Data/Information Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent discipline. 7 years of direct work experience performing the duties and responsibilities of this position. Deep knowledge of and experience with SAP and Microsoft Azure suites (ETL, service bus, and data quality tool components) and understanding of SAP HANA, SQL Server, Oracle, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft PowerBI, etc. platforms.
