The Mobile App Developer designs, builds, and maintains iOS and Android apps using Swift, Kotlin, or cross-platform frameworks like React Native. Responsibilities include developing user-friendly interfaces, integrating APIs, optimizing performance, and managing app releases. The ideal candidate has strong mobile development skills, problem-solving abilities, and stays updated with the latest industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms using languages like Swift, Kotlin, or frameworks like React Native and Flutter.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code aligned with industry standards.
UI/UX Implementation :
Work with designers to implement user-friendly, responsive interfaces.
Optimize apps for performance, usability, and platform consistency.
API Integration :
Integrate with backend services and APIs to enable app functionality.
Ensure seamless data flow and real-time interactions across app features.
Testing and Debugging :
Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure app stability and performance.
Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs and performance issues.
Version Control and Collaboration :
Use version control tools (e.g., Git) to manage code and collaborate with team members.
Participate in code reviews to maintain high development standards.
App Deployment and Maintenance :
Manage app releases on App Store and Google Play, including beta testing.
Monitor app performance post-deployment and release updates as needed.
Security Best Practices :
Implement data security practices to protect user information and prevent vulnerabilities.
Regularly update app dependencies to maintain security.
Stay up-to-date with mobile development trends and emerging technologies.
Suggest improvements in app architecture and codebase for better performance.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android); React Native/Flutter is a plus.
UI/UX Knowledge : Strong grasp of mobile UI/UX design principles.
API Integration : Experience with RESTful APIs and backend connectivity.
Testing and Debugging : Skilled in mobile app testing and troubleshooting.
Version Control : Proficient in Git.
App Store Knowledge : Familiar with app submission processes for iOS and Android.
Security : Knowledge of mobile data security best practices.
Problem Solving : Strong analytical skills for app optimization.
Continuous Learning : Passion for staying current with mobile development trends.
Preferred
Advanced Education : Master’s degree or relevant certifications in mobile development.
Cross-Platform Expertise : Proficiency in both iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin), plus experience with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter.
UI/UX Excellence : Advanced understanding of mobile design standards and user-centered design.
Backend Knowledge : Familiarity with server-side technologies and databases.
Testing & Automation : Experience with automated testing and continuous integration (CI/CD).
App Store Optimization : Proven track record of successful app store submissions and updates.
Security Proficiency : Deep knowledge of data encryption, secure authentication, and app security.
Performance Optimization : Experience with app performance tuning and memory management.
Collaboration Skills : Strong experience working within agile teams and cross-functional collaboration.
Location 100% On-Site work in the Company’s headquarters in Unit 308, One Legacy Place, Don Jesus Blvd cor Kentucky Drive, Alabang Hills, Muntinlupa, Metro Manila, Philippines.
