Account Executive RoleAs a member of the company's Sales, Marketing and Customer Service team, the Account Executive will be responsible for the generation of new and existing business accounts for CoreSite. As an Account Executive, you will pursue opportunities created by CoreSite marketing as well as opportunities uncovered via your own network and prospecting activities. You will conduct tours and deliver presentations at your local data center, with support from local Sales and Operations leadership. A primary focus of this role will be identifying, developing, and expanding opportunities within accounts located in your data center's regional market.
Duties- Prospect for new accounts within your region and other neutral territory
- Manage existing customer accounts for renewal and expansion business.
- Prepare presentations and tours with prospective customers
- Develop and cultivate relevant partner contacts to foster opportunity pipeline
- Prepare quotes and proposals for new business through web leads
- Negotiate business and legal terms with potential customers and prospects according to Company guidelines
- Review and ensure the accuracy of lease/license documents prior to delivery to potential customers or prospects
- Report activities and opportunities to the Company on a regular basis
- Oversee transition of finalized transactions to Sales Support
- Wisely utilize Company resources to help close transactions Awareness of supply and demand trends in the applicable regional market /vertical
- Awareness of the competitive landscape, market pricing and strategy
- Gain an understanding of the data center, real estate and telecommunications industries
- Promote and demonstrate the behaviors consistent with CoreSite's culture and core values.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, with regular on-site presence of up to 2 days per week.
- Flexibility to travel up to 10%, with the potential for increased travel or in-office presence as business needs evolve.
