Position Network Engineer Principal Specialist, Information Workplace Services – P3, Raytheon Digital Technology. Location: Forest, MS (US-MS-FOREST-430). Onsite role requiring current U.S. Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship. Responsibilities Lead major network projects. Provide high-level technical support with advanced troubleshooting and triage. Deploy and sustain air-gapped networks supporting 24/7 factory operations. Provide compliance and audit resolution and mitigation. Help train and mentor junior team members. Occasional domestic travel may be required. Required Qualifications University degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience. Experience as a network engineer within a Cisco-based environment (WAN or other types). Experience administering Cisco networking products such as Identity Services Engine (ISE). Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship. Preferred Qualifications CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent 8570 IAT Level II or 8140 Intermediate). Associate-level Cisco certification (e.g., CCNA). Effective customer service skills, both oral and written. Experience installing and operating SNMP-based network management tools such as SolarWinds. Experience configuring and operating NSA-approved, Type‑1 encryption devices. Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation such as network diagrams. Benefits Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD. Eligible for relocation support.
