Job Overview We are seeking a Sales Leader for the AWS Cloud Sales Center (CSC) to lead a high‑impact, diverse team that drives adoption and expansion of our full‑service portfolio. The role focuses on setting vision, strategy, and go‑to‑market initiatives, building and developing high‑performance sales teams, and partnering with functional, specialist, and partner teams to scale our business.
Responsibilities
Lead and grow a sales team focused on customer adoption and expansion of AWS cloud solutions.
Set market vision and strategy, pivot on emerging trends, and plan for market adoption.
Drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration across accounts.
Hire, coach, and develop high‑performance sales representatives.
Build and execute go‑to‑market initiatives in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
Work backwards from customers to define and deliver outcomes.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of technology‑related sales, marketing, or business development experience.
7+ years of sales management experience.
Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
4+ years of direct field experience selling software or cloud solutions.
MBA or graduate degree in a related field.
Compensation and Benefits Base salary ranges by location:
USA, TX, Austin – 157,100.00 – 212,600.00 USD annually
USA, VA, Arlington – 157,100.00 – 212,600.00 USD annually
USA, WA, Seattle – 157,100.00 – 212,600.00 USD annually
The Amazon package includes sign‑on payments, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location. Benefits include health, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life and AD&D insurance, EAP, mental health support, flexible spending account, adoption and surrogacy reimbursement, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
