Über
Perform routine and complex testing across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, urinalysis, coagulation, and serology. Analyze, verify, and report test results, including critical values, in accordance with established protocols. Prioritize laboratory workflow during weekend night coverage to support urgent and emergent clinical needs. Conduct quality control, calibrations, preventive maintenance, and document corrective actions. Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, including Kaizen-style problem solving when issues arise. Enter and document results using the Laboratory Information System and Cerner EHR while communicating with ED and inpatient teams. Qualifications:
Hold ASCP MLS/MT or AMT certification. Maintain AHA BLS certification. Earn a degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field with completed clinical training. Complete 5+ years of recent hospital-based laboratory experience with strong generalist capability. Bring prior travel assignment experience and prior independent weekend/night coverage experience. Demonstrate recent hands-on experience with QuidelOrtho Vitros 7600 and/or Vitros 5600 and Cerner EHR experience. Benefits & Growth:
