Business Developer – North America A leading multinational manufacturing company is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Business Developer to support growth across the North American market.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a global organization serving the Energy, Oil & Gas, and Industrial sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding market presence, developing strategic customer relationships, and driving sustainable commercial growth throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Market Expansion
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across North America.
Execute commercial strategies to increase market share and drive sustainable revenue growth.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and customer engagement.
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings.
Customer Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, EPC contractors, operators, and service companies.
Create account growth strategies focused on customer retention, profitability, and long‑term partnerships.
Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are effectively addressed.
Commercial Management
Support pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements.
Develop competitive pricing strategies while maintaining profitability.
Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and sales reporting activities.
Ensure commercial activities align with company policies and objectives.
Technical & Market Support
Provide technical‑commercial guidance and recommend solutions aligned with customer requirements.
Understand customer applications, projects, and market challenges.
Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and technical teams to support customer success.
Stay informed on industry standards, specifications, and market developments.
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the
Energy, Oil & Gas, Industrial Manufacturing, or related sectors .
Proven track record of generating new business opportunities and expanding customer portfolios.
Strong commercial acumen and experience managing customer relationships.
Ability to understand technical products and translate customer needs into effective solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
Self‑motivated professional capable of working independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Availability to work on‑site in
Houston, Texas .
